CAF Welcomes two New Team Members

We are pleased to welcome two new staff to the CAF team. Our peer support specialists, Colin and Kristy! They are excited to help us build the backbone of our new program - Revive to Thrive (R2T.) R2T is a full spectrum continuum of care for individuals and families impacted by substance use. Our peer support specialists will serve as the connective tissue between a wide variety of resources and services along every point of an individual or family's journey from active use to long-term recovery. This starts with Comprehensive Harm Reduction to keep people safe and alive, includes case management services to navigate food assistance, enrollment in healthcare, transportation needs, and other basic needs. Our peers also help with finding and enrolling in treatment, and provide ongoing harm reduction and recovery coaching. When individuals enter recovery or are leaving treatment they are eligible for a recovery housing grant and may be ready to begin working with our peers to secure a job. Once individuals are stabilized, they will receive periodic check ins with their peer support specialist at intervals customized to their needs.

We can't wait to continue building out this vital service in our community with the help of Colin and Kristy!
