PROGRAMS
1
Come join us for the R.O.P.E Program where you will learn how to save a life by administering naloxone, and how to prevent overdose through proper medication disposal. In addition, you will learn about treatment options, family education programs, and community resources.
2
We are involved in advocating on the local, state, and national level for better policies to address substance use disorder and the opioid crisis. Representatives from The CAF serve on task forces at the state and local level and attend stake holder meetings at the White House.

We lead a successful effort to pass law in Virginia to allow Revive instructors to dispense naloxone directly to the people they train, thus increasing access to the most vulnerable populations.

Recovery Housing Grants
Many people leave treatment without any safe, substance free place to go home to. Some end up on the street or in the same place they were in while using. To prevent this common pitfall of early recovery we provide small housing grants to transition people directly from treatment into recovery housing.

Education
Knowledge is power. We provide educational workshops, panelists, and keynote speakers for conferences and events. We also maintain a small, curated list of trustworthy treatment centers and other resources. Please visit our resources page for more.
